Shortly after Skyler Stone did CON, he was flown to New York to audition for Lorne Michaels. This is the tape that was sent there for consideration. They loved it and had him test the same year as Samberg and Hader . He did not get it, but the impressions are fucking DEAD ON.

This clip is from a short lived show called the "New Show".The New Show ran for 13 episodes on NBC from January 1984, Friday nights at 10. Produced by Lorne Michaels, it emulated SNL's format and ambiance. Most of the people that worked on The New Show ended up returning to SNL when Michaels became Executive Producer again in 1985.
