John is such a sweet and funny guy! When I asked him about this performance, he said:"It was funny, because the first time I performed on TOTPs in the 1970s I performed LIVE, and at that time no one ever performed live on the show. Then when I came came to TOTPs in the 1990s, I LIP SYNCED the performance, and by that time EVERYONE ELSE was peforming live on the program!" That's typical of John:he always gives performances that are UNIQUE from what other artists are doing!
